The London Irish Rifles War Memorial


From July 2026 – St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast

Two notable sculptures are displayed on the London Irish Rifles War Memorial:

The Man of Loos’ sculpted in the 1920s by Paul Rafael Montford.

The ‘Son of the Man’ which was sculpted after the Second World War by Captain Sean Crampton GM MC who served with the 1st Battalion in Italy.

September 1949 – Duke of York’s Headquarters in Chelsea


From November 2002 to July 2026 – Connaught House in Camberwell
