Heavy bombardment by hostile trench mortars and artillery from 7am till 10am. A second heavy bombardment by hostile artillery and trench mortars from 4.10 till 5pm.<br>\nS.O.S. signal put up by Bttn. on the left. Enemy came over but were driven back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>December 16th to 18th.<\/strong><br>\nIn the Line. No action followed.
