He rapidly became friends with his brother officers and men and provided himself not only capable but enthusiastic. he was quite tireless and his cheerful face was always a tonic even in our worst moments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was best of good company and a great asset on our numerous shooting expeditions , legitimate or otherwise, in which he delighted.
