1st November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
The Battalion was classed as the best Battalion Section in Defence in the Second Bombing and Field Engineering course instituted by the Brigade Commander, 180th Infantry Brigade; while 2nd Lt Forsayeth and 9 NCOs and men were listed as First Class Bomb Throwers.


8th November – ONGAR.
2nd Lt Conlan commenced a course in Military Engineering.


8th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
Three NCOs and 5 men commenced the 60th (London) Division Advanced MG course. Two NCOs commenced the 60th (London) Division Range-taking course.


9th November – KELVEDON.
2Lt Forsayeth and 2 NCOs commenced a course of Instruction at the Third Army Trench Fighting School.


11th November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
525 .303 Rifles and 157.920 rounds of ammunition received.


13th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
Two NCOs commenced the 60th (London) Division Range-taking class.


14th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
2nd Lt Akerman and one NCO and one man commenced the 60th (London) Division Training Course.


15th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
2nd Lt Kimberley commenced the Divisional Signalling course.


15th November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
2nd Lt Comerford and 5 NCOs and 11 men commenced Course of Instruction at the 180th Infantry Brigade Bombing School.

525 Japanese rifles and 105.348 rounds of ammunition handed over.


16th November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
2nd Lt Harvey and 5 NCOs and 6 men were placed as First Class Bomb Throwers by the 180th Infantry Brigade.


17th November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
New Establishment (23 Officers) for 2nd Line units authorised.


17th November – OXFORD.
2nd Lts Davis and MacKenzie commenced Junior Officers’ Course.


17th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
This Battalion was placed third in the Proficiency List of the 60th (London) Division at the Divisional Machine Gun Course.


18th November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
Nine GS Wagons Mark 10 received and 9 GS Limber Wagons handed over.


21st November – GODSTONE.

Lt Peckham and a NCO commenced a Grenadier course.


22nd November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
Four NCOs and 18 men commenced Bombing Course at the class of the 180th Infantry Brigade.


22nd November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.

Two NCOs commenced Divisional Range-taking course.


23rd November – SAFFRON WALDEN.
2nd Lt Wakefield, 8 NCOs and 32 men commenced 3 weeks’ training as Battalion scouts.


24th November – HERTFORD.
2nd Lt Harvey commenced the Junior Officers’ course.


29th November – BISHOPS STORTFORD.
Six men commenced the Divisional Machine Gun course.
One NCO commenced the Divisional Range-taking course.
